I am about to teach my Thursday night drumming class in Elwood. It doesn't start for another hour but I am at the venue already. Aren't I good?
It's been a busy week so far but not with any writing or production of music. Instead, I have been fiddling around with getting my car fixed (it finally is which makes me happy for now), doing computer technician work, collecting census forms and filling in for Ray - teaching his classes while he's overseas on tour. So, lots of work and not much news.
I did have to teach a school of kids on Tuesday. That was interesting.
So, at the moment I am gritting my teeth and trying to get through to the end of the month - by then my census work will be finished, my debts will be paid off, my car will be running, I will have been able to buy a bit of much-needed studio gear and I will, hopefully, be able to get busy.
Until then, I'll keep you posted.
By the way, I played percussion with Knight at the Discotheque last Sunday night. I will most likely do so again this Sunday night at Veludo Live in St Kilda at 10.00. See you there.
